The Final Four (Current Series)

For the next four weeks we will look at the final four days and four major events from Jesus’s preparation of the Passover to His Resurrection from the dead.

The Final Four

The Passover and the Lord’s Supper  (March 4, 2018)

This Sunday we will study The Passover and the Lord’s Supper. On the eve of His death, Jesus gave His disciples a memorial service that would always be a reminder of what He was about to do. In 1 Corinthians 11:20 it is called “The Lord’s Supper”. It was a regular practice in the early church and is for us today.

I Corinthians 11:23-25 NKJV

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

Thy Will Be Done  (March 11, 2018)

This week we study the Lord’s prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane just before He was arrested. We will see how and why Jesus prayed like He did on that night and how we can pray even when we are in the darkest of nights.

Matthew 26:39 NKJV
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
